Youth

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations." Then I said, "Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth." But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a youth'; for to all who I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord."

God will give us exactly what we need to do everything He made us to do. No most of what we need or some of what we need or sort of what He wanted us to do or the next best thing. No. All out. 100%. We are without excuse because God made us and is making us into the very thing He wants us to be. No youth or disadvantage can stop us. This means so much to me.

Lord, let me never forget the power You've put in me. Let me never forget the strength You've given me. Let me always remember that everything I have is exactly what I need for today. Let me not worry or boast in tomorrow but focus on the moment and the good things You are doing. Just enough strength to live for today. Give this youth the courage to face the life You've given me. Show me who You want me to be.
